Vodafone Secure Mobile portal
Vodafone uses customized i-Concept portal technology for their Secure Mobile Guardian service. This service helps IT managers and system operators with the management of their mobile security policies. More and more companies have a growing mobile workforce which asks for centralized professional remote installation of software and support, or even remote wipe in case of theft or abuse.
This custom portal is the result of a solid and successful co-operation of VeiligMobiel BV and i-Concept. The users of the mobile device as well as the system administrator can adjust the security level on the device through the personalized and secured portal application. These adjustments reach from blocking certain "dangerous" applications such as MSN or communication ports such as Bue Tooth to a total remote wipe after theft or abuse. VeiligMobiel is negotiating with other large corporations and governmental institutions.
